The
Board Types
Our Standard cards are a 310gsm semigloss artboard. This board has
a great feel to it. It is not a flimsy thin board. We varnish these
cards as a standard process to further protect the cards' surface.
We also offer a Laminate coating (like UV) on the
surface of these cards at an extra charge.
Gloss Laminate
is a thin shiny plastic film on the cards front and back. Note you
are unable to write on this card's surface.
Matt Laminate is a silky matt plastic
film applied to the front and back of the cards.
We also offer an Uncoated board.
This is a porous board which you can write on with any pen or pencil.
This is a 340gsm weight board in a high white finish.
We suggest you request samples to see the differences
between these finishes if you are at all unsure of your choice.
The
Size
The size of are cards are 89mm x 53mm. You may work with a landscape
format or a portrait format.
If you are preparing artwork or an image for the
background of your card, then please note that you must add bleed.
Bleed is 1mm extra around the edge of your card where your image
must extend. We then trim this 1mm off after printing. This is to
prevent any undesired white edges around your card. So your 'artwork'
must be 91mm x 55mm in size.
The
Printing
We use a Heidelberg Speedmaster printing press. We print in four
colour process. This is using Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Black inks.
Known as CMYK colour mode.
This process delivers the highest quality printing
available in the marketplace today. We do not use any inkjets, lasers,
or digital printing.
All of our standard cards are varnished. This provides
a high level of protection for your cards sealing in the ink.
Delivery
Charges
We offer a fast, reliable, door-to-door, customs-cleared express
delivery service for business cards to over 210 countries worldwide.
Australia
We utilise the Australia Post Express Post Satchels which offer
an overnight service to most metropolitan areas throughout Australia.
Most people know if they are in the standard delivery zone which
Australia Post call an overnight area. We dispatch from the Sydney
Metro each day.
The charges are for Postage and Handling which is
as low as $7.50 for 1 box of 250 cards Australia wide. This fits
into the 500gram satchel. Then we go up to the next size being a
3kg satchel which holds between 2 boxes (500 cards) and 6 boxes
(1,500 cards) at a cost of $9.50.

International
Internationally we use FEDEX Express which allows you to track your
cards even down to an expected delivery time. Most orders are delivered
2-4 days after printing.
Into New Zealand we can still hold the $7.50 charge
for a single box of 250 cards. But for other destinations we start
at $12.50. Again for a full listing please see our Prices page.
How
long will it take?
We are currently quoting two timings.
Standard and Laminated Business Cards
5 working days from order to dispatch. Whilst most orders leave
our premises within 3 days we do quote 5 days to allow for anything
that may slow us down. You must then add the appropriate delivery
time to your order for the post or Fedex to deliver them.
What is a Standard Card?
A standard card is one without celloglazing and not on the uncoated
board. Standard can include front and back printing.
Laminated Cards
We offer both a matt and gloss Laminated finish to cards. The matt
finish is more popular and there is no extra time required for this
process. The gloss finish may take a little longer. So allow the
full 5 working days quoted for gloss Laminating.
Uncoated Cards
Allow an extra 3 days for this finish. We are experiencing that
the uncoated board is regularly using up the full 8 working days.
So please prepare yourself for this couple of weeks to receive your
uncoated cards.
Delivery Times
Australia. We use Australia Post - Express Overnight Satchels for
our deliveries within Australia. So metropolitan areas generally
receive an overnight delivery service whilst the regional areas
vary 2 - 3 days. Check with Australia Post whether you are in an
overnight area. We are dispatching from Sydney Metro each day. |
